Common questions

How much does a plumber cost?

It depends on the job and how bad the problem is. That is why the first step is a phone call. Describe the problem and get your free estimate on the phone, with upfront pricing.

Will I talk to a real person?

Yes, you will.

Do I need to fill out a form?

No forms and no waiting on emailed quotes. One phone call is all it takes.

Can I get help at night or on a weekend?

We have plumbers ready to help families in the community 24/7, but moment-to-moment availability depends on demand. Call to find out how soon we can service your home.

Should I wait to call?

You already know that plumbing problems don't go away on their own. And waiting just increases the risks to your house. Plumbers see this hesitation all the time. Instead of regretting not calling earlier, just make that 2-minute call now and get your free estimate.

People also ask

Does homeowners insurance cover a buried water line repair?

It depends on the policy. Many standard policies exclude the buried service line unless an endorsement was added, and some carriers sell that coverage separately. Contact your insurance provider and ask what your own policy says before assuming it either way.

Why does my meter pit keep filling with water?

A little groundwater after heavy rain is common, but a pit that stays full through a dry week usually means the setter, the meter connection or the service line is leaking. A plumber can separate surface water from a supply leak by reading the meter with every fixture inside shut off.

Is galvanized pipe still common in older homes around here?

Plenty of them do. Galvanized scales shut from the inside over decades, so pressure fades slowly and the hot side usually goes first. Once it starts closing up, replacement is the only real answer.
