Common questions

How much does a plumber cost?

It depends on the job and how bad the problem is. That is why the first step is a phone call. Describe the problem and get your free estimate on the phone, with upfront pricing.

Will I talk to a real person?

Yes, you will.

Do I need to fill out a form?

No forms and no waiting on emailed quotes. One phone call is all it takes.

Can I get help at night or on a weekend?

We have plumbers ready to help families in the community 24/7, but moment-to-moment availability depends on demand. Call to find out how soon we can service your home.

Should I wait to call?

You already know that plumbing problems don't go away on their own. And waiting just increases the risks to your house. Plumbers see this hesitation all the time. Instead of regretting not calling earlier, just make that 2-minute call now and get your free estimate.

People also ask

Is this roots or something we flushed?

The pattern gives it away more than anything. Root blockages return every year or two in the same spot, and a camera down the line shows the mass sitting at a joint rather than a plug of material in the middle of a run.

Do older houses here have a sewer cleanout?

Look for a threaded cap in the basement floor or a short capped riser in the front yard. If there isn't one, clearing the line has to go through a pulled toilet or a roof vent, which is why adding a proper cleanout is often the first thing done.

How often do older lines around here need clearing?

Lines with roots in them tend to run on a repeating cycle, often yearly or every other year, until the damaged section is lined or replaced. Clearing buys time and does not close the crack.

What changes if I'm on a septic system?

The run from the house to the tank behaves the same way, and roots find it just as readily. The tank and the field then need pumping and inspection on their own schedule, which a sewer connection never asks for.
