Common questions

How much does a plumber cost?

It depends on the job and how bad the problem is. That is why the first step is a phone call. Describe the problem and get your free estimate on the phone, with upfront pricing.

Will I talk to a real person?

Yes, you will.

Do I need to fill out a form?

No forms and no waiting on emailed quotes. One phone call is all it takes.

Can I get help at night or on a weekend?

We have plumbers ready to help families in the community 24/7, but moment-to-moment availability depends on demand. Call to find out how soon we can service your home.

Should I wait to call?

You already know that plumbing problems don't go away on their own. And waiting just increases the risks to your house. Plumbers see this hesitation all the time. Instead of regretting not calling earlier, just make that 2-minute call now and get your free estimate.

People also ask

How do I get a lead test done on my tap water?

The provider is the first call, since sampling programs exist for exactly this. A private laboratory is the other route. Sampling and the material record answer two different questions.

Do I need a permit to replace the line into the house?

In most places a permit is required, because the tap and the road crossing are not yours to open. The plumber doing the work generally pulls it as part of the job. Ask that question early rather than on the day the excavator arrives.

Is my supply pipe why the water heater is noisy?

Material arriving from an old supply run drops out in the tank and insulates the bottom. Flushing helps but does not stop what keeps arriving. The pipe is the part that ends it.

Does cold weather make an old supply line fail faster?

Yes, since frozen ground moves and an old wall thickness has nothing left to give. Joints that were fine in warm ground begin to seep once the freeze reaches them. If flow improves once the ground thaws, the buried run is the suspect.
